  • Joy Perez - President

    Joy Perez(She/Her), of the House of CHAOS, embraces her identity as a Leather bratty Switch. As a queer, polyamorous individual, she challenges societal norms and misconceptions with confidence. Joy fully owns her multifaceted nature, using her experiences to educate others about polyamory, being a Switch, and what it truly means to be "bratty" in the Leather community.

    In her leadership roles, Joy is deeply committed to advocacy and community building. As board president of the Central Texas Pride Community Center, she works to create a safe and inclusive space for the LGBTQIA+ community. Additionally, her roles as a board member of CTX Darkside and vice president of UnSinXored allow her to promote education, foster safe practices, and support community growth.

    Through her work, Joy passionately advocates for inclusivity, education, and empowerment. She inspires others to embrace their authentic selves, break down barriers, and celebrate the rich diversity within the kink, BDSM, and Leather communities.


  • Sir Scorpion King Ty - Deputy Chair

    Sir Scorpion King Ty, a Louisiana native, has immersed Himself in the vibrant tapestry of Central Texas for the past decade. In 2012, a serendipitous encounter led Him into the captivating world of kink and BDSM, marking the beginning of a transformative journey. After years of gradually expanding His understanding, in 2023, Sir Ty took an active role in the Leather/BDSM community by participating in and volunteering at events hosted by CTX Darkside.

    Sir Ty identifies as a Leather S/switch, and upon entering the community realized there was very little visibility for people like Him. In seeking to create those spaces, He partnered with Joy Perez to form “Through the S/switches’ Glass”, a monthly virtual roundtable for S/switches. Sir Ty is also the President and Co-Founder of UnSinXored, a group based in Central Texas whose focus is to provide safe spaces both online and offline for people to learn, play, and grow in kink/BDSM/Leather.


  • Meeka Amarillo-Rojas - Sgt. at Arms

    Meeka is a hetero-flexible, poly-amorous, Switch, Leatherwoman, sado-masochistic, little who enjoys sensual, sensory play, impact, humiliation and degradation and lots of other mischief! Meeka's journey includes volunteering and or presenting at events like CTX Darkside, SELF, Women in Leather Atlanta, LSC Uprise!, Thrive Con, BeThe DiFference Munch, Service Oriented Conference and others. Meeka is a fervent advocate and educator for mental health, consent, safety, as well as cultural diversity and supporting marginalized individuals, including those with hidden and visible disabilities. Meeka is a full member of WiLA (Assistant Road Captain). Her other affiliations include Black FemDoms-Atlanta, and Woman of Drummer. Meeka is a proud Staff and Regional Contributor for BLIC (Black Leather in Color) Magazine. Meeka was nominated for the 2023 Leather Solidarity Collective (LSC) Uprise! Award.  She currently serves as a Volunteer Assistant for SouthEast Leatherfest Conference. She is committed to continued growth and service in the community.

  • Thee Lady Aurora - Secretary

    Austin native Thee Lady Aurora brings a unique blend of charm, resilience, and authenticity to her journey in the Leather and BDSM community.

    A Black trans woman active in the community since 2016, Aurora embraces her identity as a princess, Goddess, and switch with sincerity and conviction, standing firmly on her beliefs. Known for her fierce loyalty, she is protective of those she cares about and serves as a dedicated leader within the community.

    Combining her passion for logistics with a commitment to creating inclusive spaces, Aurora served as president of the Austin Black Social Club from 2022 to 2024, where she helped build a welcoming environment for POC to connect, grow, and thrive within Austin’s kink scene. Her dedication to growth and open dialogue also extends to her podcast, LightTalk Podcast: Afterdark, where she explores topics in kink, polyamory, and BDSM, inviting listeners to connect and learn together.

    In all she does, Aurora brings a quiet strength and a spark that illuminates new paths, encouraging others to discover and embrace their own light within the community.


  • Mx. SharkBoi - Treasurer

    Mx. SharkBoi, (They/He/It) of House of Fist is a gender-fluid S/switch. They love to wear many labels such as: Goddex, puppy, Daddy, slave, & many others. Known for their “scary dog” energy, he stands firmly in his beliefs and in protecting his family and community. While he may wear many labels, they are passionate about making sure that boxes are kept for packing things. 

    Starting their journey in 2015 in the Northeast, they have always loved being on both sides of the slash, getting to learn and experience so much. However, their mission really took off in 2018 after moving to Florida. Since being told that there was no room for S/switches in the local community he has worked to prove that S/switches and others don't need to fit in boxes. Making sure S/switches would have a voice and safe spaces to feel seen in all corners of our community is a passion of theirs. 

    Leather is something that they had always felt was missing in his life, he just didn’t know it yet. Since joining the House of Fist, he has realized how much there is a need for community. With the ever-changing issues of our nation, we need to make sure that there’s somewhere we can all come to for comfort. Sharkie is determined to continue advocating for inclusive spaces, strong communities, and even more education about S/switches. 

    Sharkie is honored, proud and so excited to be one of the founders of the Gemini Leather Collective.
